Welcome to Gangnam Healing Eye Clinic: Your Premier Destination for LASIK Surgery

Hello!
I am Dr. Kim Sun-young, the head director of Gangnam Healing Eye Clinic.
To date, I have performed over 30,000 surgeries, with more than 6,000 of those being vision correction procedures.
I even performed surgery on my own mother.
This is my YouTube channel. If you're considering LASIK, it's filled with helpful tips related to LASIK eye clinic recommendations, so be sure to visit and check out the videos! ^_^
I always concentrate fully on each surgery, often working up a sweat! haha
So, by the time I leave work, I'm usually exhausted.
However, some people have begun to recognize these efforts.
Recently, KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) visited our Healing Eye Clinic, and I've been invited to participate as a medical consultant on the "Make Me Man" and "Good Morning Show" programs. ^^
Thanks to this, my name is becoming more well-known...
Even during relatively quiet weekday mornings, I conduct consultations with 10 to 20 people.
(If you visit without an appointment, you may have to wait a long time... ㅠㅠ)
As an ophthalmologist with 18 years of experience, I often wonder why so many people seek us out, traveling from all over the country, including Ulsan, Changwon, and Busan.
I'd like to share three key reasons why.
Gangnam LASIK Surgery? We have optometrists with over 10 years of experience.
This is a really important point.
Many patients mistakenly believe that 'only doctors perform the surgery.'
But that's only half the story.
The other half is handled by the 'optometrist'.
When you visit the clinic, you'll first undergo an eye exam to determine which surgery is most suitable.
You'll sit in front of a machine to have photos taken of your retina and cornea.
However, the most important test here is accurately measuring nearsightedness, astigmatism, and farsightedness without any errors.
This task must be performed manually by a person, not a machine...
So it's really, really important.
We put different lenses in front of your eyes and ask:
'Do you see better with the red or the green lens?'
'Which side looks clearer?'
'I'm going to shine a light in your eye for a moment.'
...
Even if the patient's answers are vague, the optometrist must use their judgment to adjust the nearsightedness value and find the optimal vision.
When addressing astigmatism, which can be tricky, the optometrist must constantly check the patient's eye condition throughout the examination.
These results are very sensitive, and even a slight misjudgment can quickly lead to a difference of 1-2 diopters.
This difference can cause a significant drop in vision after surgery, down to 0.7 or 0.8...^^
That's why, although we have over 10 optometrists on staff, we only entrust the 'vision test,' which relies on human skill, to two experienced professionals with over 10 years of experience. ^^
(They are truly reliable employees.)
Every morning, I hold meetings like this with some of the staff.
Gangnam LASIK Surgery? We only use equipment that I would use on myself.
When it comes to LASIK, I believe the best equipment is undoubtedly the 'Amaris Red'.
(This is just my personal opinion.)
As the latest excimer laser equipment, it offers superior laser quality, which minimizes corneal damage.
It has also reduced surgery time from 10-20 minutes to under 10 minutes.
(Generally, longer surgery times can cause blurred vision and corneal swelling.
Also, prolonged exposure of the corneal stroma (the inner layer) to the air can make it easier for airborne contaminants to enter the eye.)
So, if you're looking into Gangnam LASIK surgery, I recommend visiting a clinic that has the Amaris Red equipment!
Gangnam LASIK Surgery? The experience of the ophthalmologist!
I graduated second in my class from Catholic Medical University, which is considered one of the top medical schools in ophthalmology.
I also worked as a clinical professor at Catholic University Hospital for 4 years.
This year marks my 18th year as a specialist, and it's already been 7 years since I opened my own practice.
I have performed over 30,000 surgeries, including more than 6,000 LASIK and LASEK procedures.
That's why I always try to use the best and most expensive equipment...^^
(The total cost of all the equipment would be equivalent to the price of an apartment in Gangnam... haha)
Representatives from Johnson & Johnson, the largest cataract company in the United States, have even visited us. ^^
Currently, I could hire more doctors and expand the clinic, but honestly...
I don't want to do that.
Rather than expanding the clinic and delegating everything to other doctors in a business-like manner,
I prefer meeting each patient personally,
listening to their concerns, and taking responsibility for their surgery.
I believe this is the right thing to do for those who trust and come to me.
Actually, it's more rewarding. ^^
Our clinic offers a lifetime guarantee program.
Be sure to check if you can receive free re-operation. ^^
Anyway, today I was supposed to recommend a Gangnam LASIK surgery clinic, but I feel a little embarrassed because I've only talked about myself and boasted about my achievements...
But I hope this post has been helpful to someone...?
