Korean Patient from Canada Travels to Korea for Cataract Surgery: A Heartwarming Review
A Korean patient, born in 1968 and residing in Canada, traveled all the way to Korea to undergo cataract surgery.
Working in an office job in the IT industry, they had difficulty seeing even computer text clearly due to severe presbyopia.
They mentioned that it took them as long as 20 minutes to trim their fingernails and toenails.
They decided to have surgery before their symptoms worsened.
They searched for doctors on YouTube who provided information about cataracts.

Even during the surgery, you said, "It will be over soon, so think of a happy moment," and before I even had time to think, the surgery was over in an instant, haha.
(It usually takes about 5-10 minutes ^^)
I received requests for interviews from TV programs such as JTBC, YTN, and KBS, and I filmed them with gratitude.
When you decided to have surgery, why did you choose our eye clinic among so many hospitals?
Since I live abroad, the only way to get information was through YouTube.
I watched dozens of videos.
Most of them were just saying, "Our hospital is good," but the director's channel (Ophthalmologist Sister) somehow had a very simple message...
I felt sincerity in the way you spoke without embellishment.
Even though the message wasn't flashy, the confidence within it was conveyed to me.

Did you have any discomfort after the cataract surgery?
I didn't feel any foreign body sensation or pain, as if I hadn't had surgery at all.
I don't know how it will be for others... but I didn't have any at all.

Because my surgery went so well and the progress was good, what I can confidently say is that it's better to get it done as soon as possible.
Cataracts don't come on suddenly, but progress slowly.
